It is with great joy that Janette returns to serve as Co-Director of Religious Education. Whether parishioners have been members of St. Charles Parish, St. Luke Parish, or are just beginning their journey with this faith community, Janette feels truly blessed to walk alongside them.

Returning to this role after nine years feels less like coming back to a job and more like responding to God's call once again. During those years away, the Lord continued to shape Janette. She returns not because she has all the answers, but because she has gained something even more valuable—wisdom that comes through experience and a deeper relationship with God. She knows Him more intimately today than she did nine years ago, and that relationship has changed the way she serves others.

Part of what drew Janette back to Religious Education was the deep love she has always had for this ministry and for the families it serves. Returning also meant coming back to a program that is familiar to her and one that was nurtured with extraordinary love and dedication by Joann Drummond. Janette considers it both a privilege and a humbling responsibility to continue this ministry, working alongside the parish community to help children and families grow in their relationship with Christ.

As a wife and mother of three adult children, Janette understands that family life is filled with both beautiful milestones and unexpected challenges. She knows the joy of watching children grow in faith, celebrating the sacraments with them, and the concerns that come with raising them in today's world. She wants families to know that she is committed to walking alongside them in every season of life. She will rejoice with them in moments of celebration and be there to support and encourage them through life's challenges, always trusting that God is present in both.

As Janette begins this new chapter with the parish community, she does so with gratitude, hope, and trust in God's plan. She looks forward to getting to know each parishioner, celebrating their joys, walking with them through life's challenges, and growing together as one parish family united in Christ.
